I want to tell you about something exciting that’s happening over here.
One of our long-term clients, someone who really gets what we’re doing here at Tipping Point Recovery because her life is directly transforming, has offered to sponsor us.
She is donating so that we can attend and exhibit our work at the Cape Cod Symposium in August. This is a major annual conference for addiction and behavioral health professionals.
I had to pause because what this means is far bigger than one conference.
Families recovering is the future of recovery.
Think about it…
Your loved one goes to treatment. They get support while they are there. They learn. They work. They are offered an after care plan that they may or may not follow up on. You may get a few hours of meeting, maybe a weekend.
And then they come home.
And they come home to a family that loves them but is still reeling from the trauma. A family who may not fully understand addiction the way treatment does. A family that’s been in crisis mode. A family that hasn’t had the chance to process their own feelings about all of this. A family that does not know what it looks like to support someone in early recovery, through relapses, and how to only offer healthy help. A family who isn’t sure what to do when someone’s willingness wanes.
What if families had access to the same level of care and education as the person in treatment did?
What if family recovery wasn’t an option… but part of the standard package?
What if everyone in the family system got guidance, support and education to understand mental health and addiction, to untangle their own patterns and feelings from it, so that they could show up differently?
That’s what we are building toward at Tipping Point Recovery.
That’s what we do every single day.
Treatment for you.
We’re not waiting for the world to figure this out. We’re partnering with families who get it and treatment centers who understand that outcomes improve when families are supported too.
When you do your own recovery work…you understand the disease better. You process your own feelings instead of projecting them onto your loved one. You show up for your own life. More grounded. Less reactive.
And your loved one can feel that shift. They can feel more understood. Data proves they stay in treatment longer.
Win for you. Win for them. Win for the treatment center.
This August, because of a generous client who believes in our method, we are bringing our message directly to treatment centers at the Cape Cod Symposium.
We’re building a future where family recovery is the standard. Where everyone has the support they need.
But here’s what I want you to know right now…
You don’t have to wait for treatment centers to figure this out.
You can start your own recovery work today. For you. For your clarity. For your peace.
Because when you process your own feelings…when you understand addiction differently…when you untangle from the chaos…you give your loved one the best chance possible.
Not a guarantee. But a real chance. And a guarantee for you that you will get your peace back.

Kate
