You came here because of your loved one.
That’s honest. That’s real. Most of you did.
I get it. Because much of what the compartmentalized industry is teaching you to do is ‘try to get them to…’, ‘send them to this place’, or ‘stop doing this’.
And we know this does not work. You’re exhausted, beat up, and you find the Dear Family book, a video or a workshop, and you see this is different.
When you enroll here, something shifts in you.
YOU start doing the work. For them initially, but eventually for you first.
And you notice… you feel different.
You show up differently.
One client recently told me… In just a week of really using the tools here, I feel a huge difference. I’m more grounded going into my day, my job, my conversations with my son.
A week.
Another person said… I used the tools from yesterday’s call and I felt an enormous weight lift off me. I stopped carrying all my stuff into the day.
Two days.
Here’s what’s happening.
You are starting to look within and shifting away from trying to change something you can’t control. That gives you your power back and allows you to see more clearly.
You learn to not try to fix others anymore. You’re stabilizing yourself.
And when you stabilize yourself… everything changes.
You’re less reactive. You’re grounded. You can think clearly. You can make decisions from recovery based strategy instead of fear and confusion.
And here’s the thing… this doesn’t depend on them changing at all.
You could be doing this work while they’re still actively using. While they’re still refusing treatment. While they’re still lying.
And YOU get better. You feel better. You sleep better. You handle work better. You handle your marriage better.
So now you know that working on you actually works for you.
And if it works for you… you realize maybe I really do need to look at myself. Maybe I’ve been waiting for them to change when I could have been changing me.
Maybe I can do everything I can do for my loved one… by doing the work on myself.
That’s when people get serious about recovery.
When they realize it’s not about them. It’s about you.
One mom recently told me “this works at work. This program helped me see how I was actually participating in the dysfunction at work. I thought I was just surviving it, but I realized I had become dysfunctional right along with my environment.”
It’s like the lights of your life come back on. Recovery makes you want more recovery.
