“My life was a mess and my marriage was a mess. My husband was deeply into heavy drinking every single day on his way home from work…It was incredible how obvious it was to me and how frustrated and mad I was that he couldn’t see what he was doing to me and to our marriage, and it was bad. I was on the verge of ending the marriage, because I couldn’t live like that anymore. I was miserable.”
