Now more than ever we need support and connection. Join a Virtual Double Circle Meeting.
Double Circle Meetings are Community Recovery Meetings for all who are impacted by addiction ~ those in recovery from drugs and alcohol and those who identify as family and friends, and we share the same tools. Together as one community, we heal on mirrored paths. Hosted by Tipping Point Recovery. Meetings are held every Thursday night at 7:30 pm EST. When you sign up, you’ll receive a private Zoom link to join the meetings live. This is a topic discussion meeting with an optional Q&A after the meeting closes.
What people are saying about our Double Circle Meetings:
“This meeting is like a warm cup of coffee on a cold morning. It warms my soul. Sometimes I go because I need it. Other times I go because others might need me. But regardless of WHY I show up, that’s the ultimate point- that I show up. For me. It’s 45-60 min for me. To share, to listen, to learn, to grow, to heal, to feel, to think, to laugh, and to love. I am more whole because of that meeting. And I feel the world is a little more whole, bringing strangers together to heal each other.”
“The double circle meeting has been a blend of healing. The alcoholic in me! ACOA children of Alcoholics Anonymous working on my inner child dealing with sensitive feelings and emotions! Al-Anon as helped me to see another side of me that has helped me to pause not react and know that I cannot fix or control others and when I do it will perpetuate problems in the alcoholic ! Dealing with codependent behavior, losing oneself in fixing or controlling ones behavior, not allowing people to hit a bottom on their own so they can feel their own pain and suffering! Integrating different forms of addiction that parallel one another. By sharing allowing yourself to be vulnerable, honest and willing to share your experiences, strength and hope with one another so others will know that we are not alone and that there are solutions to our problems.”
“I have found it helpful to see how the alcoholic/addicts struggles mirror mine. I like to think it is helpful for the addict, as well. The biggest thing I have gotten out of this is building my confidence. I hope to one day help others with my story, and my practicing talking about it at the Double Circle has been huge. One of my main struggles is my low self-confidence and this meeting almost forces me to go out of my comfort zone, while still feeling supported and welcome.”
“I love the concept. I don’t talk about myself, my feelings, my secrets… I feel the love in this silence when all the people get together to listen… listen only without saying anything. This is a circle where you could be all you and express yourself without fear..shame of judgment. This is a circle where you let go of everything and feel weightless… in this silence of love .. we heal each other.”
“The double circle meeting gives me hope, love, and confidence. We are all on a journey together and it fills my heart that we don’t have to do it alone. Gives me greater respect for what people go through, how to set boundaries and stick to them. Know we can talk in confidence with no judgement. As Kate says there is no right or wrong answer. That there are good, loving people in all this crazynest. I have a long journey ahead of me learning how to love myself but this is the best place to be to get the help needed. “
“One mom’s young daughter has been attending “We all rocked it, especially my daughter. One day, she is going to do big things!”
